Your hearing evaluation typically takes 45–60 minutes and includes several components designed to assess different aspects of your hearing:
We begin by discussing your hearing concerns, medical history, noise exposure, and lifestyle needs. Understanding your unique situation helps us tailor the evaluation and any subsequent recommendations.
Using a specialized instrument, we visually inspect your ear canal and eardrum to check for blockages, structural issues, or signs of infection that may affect your hearing.
This test measures your hearing sensitivity across a range of frequencies (pitches). You'll listen for soft tones through headphones and respond when you hear them. Results are plotted on an audiogram — a visual representation of your hearing ability.
We assess how well you understand speech at various volume levels. This helps us understand how hearing loss affects your daily communication and guides hearing aid programming.
This quick, painless test evaluates the health of your middle ear by measuring how your eardrum responds to changes in air pressure. It can detect fluid, eardrum perforations, and other middle ear conditions.
